The predicted salary is between 25000 - 35000 € per year.

To work with project teams to achieve positive changes for service users. To help service users in setting realistic goals. To help service users to overcome obstacles to personal growth and fulfilment. To provide specialist support to service users in various areas such as career, relationships, wellness and finances.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • To work with staff teams to enhance provision of support to service users.
  • To work in line with JUST’s policies and procedures, values and objectives.
  • To maintain professional and positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • To collaborate with service users to define specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time limited (SMART) goals and develop actionable plans to reach them.
  • To communicate effectively with service users, families and staff team.

Communication & Information

  • To ensure that effective filing and record systems are kept and maintained as required for both internal and external purposes and in compliance with data protection.
  • To participate and attend service user meetings ensuring that service user contributions are facilitated.
  • To utilize great communication and active listening skills to understand service user’s needs and perspectives.

Working with Service Users

  • To provide guidance to key workers, to enable them to assist service users to meet their personal and professional goals.
  • To provide ongoing support, encouragement, and motivation to help service users stay on track and overcome challenges.
  • To promote and deliver some group work, individual sessions, recreation and leisure pursuits.
  • To help signpost to education, employment and training opportunities.
  • To ensure the safeguarding of vulnerable adults through training and following appropriate policies and procedures.
  • To ensure that effective links are made and maintained with external agencies.
  • To assist service users in identifying and developing new skills and qualities, such as communication, leadership and problem solving.
  • To hold service users accountable for their actions and progress towards their goals.
  • To create a safe and supportive space for service users to explore their emotions, beliefs, and challenges.
  • To help service users identify and challenge limiting beliefs and negative thought patterns.
  • To monitor progress, providing feedback, and adjusting action plans as needed.
  • To monitor service user’s wellbeing and recognise and report any deterioration in physical/mental health.
  • To work with service users to challenge behaviours that create risk and establish agreed boundaries and expectations.

Finance

  • To ensure compliance with JUST’s financial procedures.

Operational Matters

  • To promote equality and inclusion in all aspects of work.
  • To ensure that JUST’s operational policies and procedures are followed and adhered to.
  • To represent JUST generally at any relevant fora and meetings as directed, promote the work of JUST and provide feedback as appropriate.
  • To ensure own Continuing Professional Development.
  • To maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current developments in professional and clinical practice and of relevant legislation and policies.
  • To actively review own performance and development needs to assist in personal career growth.

Other Duties

  • To undertake any other duties and responsibilities appropriate to the post, as may be required from time to time.
  • To carry out all duties and responsibilities in accordance with JUST’s policies & procedures.
