The Connect Plus Services (CPS) contract is one of Egis\' key projects in the UK and is responsible for operating and maintaining the M25 motorway network, one of the busiest and most critical road networks in Europe.

CPS is delivered through a joint venture of partner organisations, including Egis, working collaboratively to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable running of the network for millions of road users every day.

Role

We are seeking to appoint a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join the team on the Connect Plus Services project.

The Graduate Electrical Engineer will play a key role in supporting the design team throughout the project lifecycle.

This position involves coordinating design projects, managing timelines, and ensuring effective communication among team members, the supply chain, and internal and external stakeholders.

  • Accountabilities
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and overseeing design projects from concept to completion, working with senior members of the team to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Prepare and maintain design documentation, including project briefs, timelines, and works information. Ensure all files are organized and accessible.
  • Assist designers with undertaking design works and preparing drawings and calculations to enable designs to be undertaken.
  • Assist designers with design checks and verification of external designs.
  • Review design outputs for accuracy and consistency, ensuring they align with project goals, the DMRB, and relevant standards.
