We offer an IT graduate opportunity within our Data Analytics team, which includes database and data visualization developers, business analysts, and project managers. The team is key to driving our goal to \”Use data analytics/insights to provide true competitive advantage to the business\”.
Overview of the IT Function
Our IT function is divided into three areas, each led by a senior manager:
- Technology & Service
- Commercial Systems (including Analytics and Automation)
- Supply Chain Systems
We have a team of 90 members based in locations including St Albans, Manchester, and Winchester, working with third-party providers for networking, technical, and development activities.
The Scheme
The 2-year graduate program involves working within the IT Data Analytics center of excellence, focusing on building a new advanced data platform and visualization tools to enable business performance.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with stakeholders across business and IT
- Delivering business reporting requirements through new reporting tools
- Gaining understanding of data platforms, models, and queries with SAP BW and AWS Redshift
- Developing skills in visualization reporting tools
- Working with analytics teams and partners on analytics requirements
- Engaging with new technologies such as AI and ML
Travel may be required, including overnight stays.

Typically, candidates will hold a degree demonstrating abilities in logic, analysis, and data interpretation, such as in maths, statistics, economics, computing, or engineering.
What We Need From You
- Degree qualification with a minimum 2:1 (or expected)
- Clear career aspirations demonstrated through employment or work experience
- UK driving license
- Experience in leadership roles in sports, hobbies, or interests
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
