- Business Advisory & Support
- Improves business process efficiency across both Operations and Sales by establishing best practices.
- Facilitate initiatives that incentivise improvement in employee performance.
- Supports the day-to-day management of the business: forecast, strategic and tactical reviews, KPIs monitoring, staffing, territory management, etc.
- Supports local needs of Sales and Sales Management across the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, and Africa).
- Business Analysis
- Provides the respective business unit with business analysis and recommendations.
- Uses common data sources (Sales Intelligence dashboards, forecasting and finance information) to highlight risks and areas for improvement and to agree with the business on actions to mitigate or drive improvement.
- Supports the business by responding to ad hoc requests related to day-to-day operational issues or long-term strategic initiatives.
- Drives specific competitive initiatives involving market analysis and deal reviews.
- Assists with budget planning and tracking.
- Sales Process And Systems
- Business partner who adds value to the respective Business Unit and Management Team.
- Helps standardise and align activities and processes around forecasting, driving KPI’s, result analysis and reporting, ongoing quarter close issue tracking and resolution.
- Uses best practices to monitor, analyse, present and improve KPI’s based on common data sources.
- Supports governance for the business unit to make sure it is operating in an effective and efficient way.
- Supports strategic business initiatives from an operational and organizational perspective.
Responsibilities Required Skills/Experience
- Undergraduate students completing a university placement programme in the UK.
- Energetic, articulated, and motivated students on course for a 2:1 degree or higher in any subject with the right attitude and aptitude to succeed in a fast-paced business.
- High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, commitment, self-belief, and achievement-orientation.
- A real team player.
- Good time management skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills, able to analyze data/situations and draw logical evidence-based conclusions.
- The ability to self-manage, with strong organizational and planning skills.
- Self-motivated to continuously expand personal and professional knowledge.
- Not afraid to fail, not afraid to learn.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
