Purpose of Position
In this role you will be responsible for supporting our Operational teams, producing route plans and roster patterns to ensure capability is maintained in the most cost-effective and compliant way without compromising service levels.
Your responsibilities also include analysing volume forecasts, producing route plans and roster patterns.
Key Responsibilities Of This Role Include
- Analysing and manipulating data from spreadsheets and other in-house systems to report on volumes of parcels
- Monitoring and assessing the progress of ongoing projects
- Identifying ways to reduce costs by implementing agreed processes to increase efficiencies
- Liaising with Hub Management to resolve any issues within the Network and promote efficiencies
- Liaising with the Network to arrange ad-hoc collections
- Liaising with Depot Management of Operations Support to plan efficient routes
- Maintaining effective communication between Hub and Network
- What We’re Looking For
- A Graduate; ideally Mathematics or other Analytical or Statistical Subject
- Analytical, data-focused, highly organized and have exceptional attention to detail
- Focused on reducing operational costs and creating efficiencies
- Ability to work as part of a team and build rapport with other departments
- Strong working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and good knowledge of formulas and Microsoft/G Suite packages
- Enjoys resolving problems and demonstrates high levels of self-motivation and flexibility
- A confident communicator with the ability to communicate at all levels
