Your Team: As part of the CFO Division, you will join the Group Treasury team which plays a key role in managing the Bank’s liquidity, investing in the bond market using a risk‑based approach to maximise the team’s Net Interest Income along with placing client deposits. Whilst we do not interact with clients, we play an important role acting as the Bank’s money manager, ensuring the Bank always has enough money to run smoothly and do not take unnecessary risks.

Your Challenge During The Programme, You Will:

  • Support the management of the group's fixed income investment portfolio
  • Perform daily cash management and execute client money market deposits
  • Gain insights into capital and liquidity planning
  • Collate data for strategy presentation slides
  • Provide guidance and support to Relationship Managers
  • Become familiar with the internal risk framework and external regulatory requirements and learn how to use different types of financial products (Bonds, FX, Money Market and Derivatives) to manage the balance sheet

Your Profile:

  • A bachelor’s or masters degree preferably in a financially related subject such as Finance, Banking or Economics (up to 3 years post graduation)
  • An analytical mindset and keen eye for detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to communicate & present to individuals at all levels
  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite, in particular Excel
  • A strong work ethic and keen appetite to learn and, in time, undertake professional study
  • Passion for wealth management and a desire to create value beyond wealth
  • An interest in world events and a desire to trade in financial markets
