Three years. Four big rotations. Unlimited learning. Over three years, you’ll rotate through four placements – in Finance and beyond – to gain a panoramic view of how the bank ticks (and how to keep it ticking smoothly).
Responsibilities
- Rotate through four placements across Finance and related teams, gaining exposure to different parts of the business.
- Work on insight, data and analysis using new technology to forecast future performance.
- Engage in Core Finance activities such as reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
- Partner with the business to understand needs, nurture relationships and deliver value through finance insights.
- Explore opportunities outside Finance with Non‑Finance placements to get closer to customers and how the bank operates.
- Spot market trends, help shape investment strategy, and design controls to keep the Group’s finances robust.
- Turn complex figures into clear, actionable insights for senior leaders and support strategic decision‑making.
- Contribute to tech‑driven transformation and a modern finance function through collaborative project work.
What you’ll need
- We do not require a minimum degree achievement, but you should be able to demonstrate sound knowledge, understanding and technical skills aligned to the role. Some aspects, alongside behaviours and values, will be assessed through the application process.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate insights clearly and influence decisions.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to understand how revenue is generated and value is created.
- Tech‑ready and comfortable using analytics tools and reporting platforms.
- Willingness to collaborate in multi‑disciplinary teams and adapt to a fast‑moving environment.
Locations
Choose from various UK locations including Leeds, Bristol and Edinburgh. You’ll be based there throughout the programme. With our hybrid working policy, all colleagues are expected to spend a minimum of two days each week in the office.
