This is a fixed term appointment for 12 months, however, as the post is linked to a maternity absence the end date is subject to change.
The Department of Allied Health Professions, Sport and Exercise has an excellent portfolio of education and research. We are looking to appoint two part-time Graduate Teaching Assistants to cover a period of maternity leave commencing in September 2025. You will contribute to teaching within our Paramedic Science programmes. You will have completed your degree in Paramedic Science and have a broad knowledge base of contemporary Paramedic practice.
Qualifications Required
The appointed postholder will have a 2:1 or above relevant undergraduate degree and be practicing as a Paramedic.
Responsibilities
Successful candidates will have a proactive attitude, and be able to undertake student centred teaching, learning, and assessment to ensure a positive student experience. You will plan, prepare and deliver quality teaching on a range of modules and assess and provide feedback on student assignments. In addition, you will act as academic advisor and assist with the supervision of student projects.
