Hazlewoods is one of the largest independent accountants and business advisers in the Southwest, with around 600 employees based in Gloucestershire, Bristol and Cardiff.

Equivalent to a Master’s degree, our joint programme enables you to become a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser within four years, gaining two highly respected qualifications - ACA/CTA.

As an apprentice, you’ll engage in client work within a supportive and inclusive team. Our apprentices collaborate with a diverse range of clients across various industry sectors, providing a rewarding and comprehensive experience.

Hazlewoods supports your growth and development by assigning a manager and buddy throughout the programme.

Tax is an evolving, increasingly digitised and highly regulated function therefore you will be at the forefront of providing advice to clients on the latest guidance and developments relating to tax.

Depending on which office you are based at, you will work with a wide range of diverse clients from high-net-worth individuals and innovative start-ups to large, global firms, helping them navigate the complex tax landscape and remain compliant.

Our Requirements

  • 2:1 degree in any discipline
  • 112 UCAS points from 3 A Levels (or equivalent)
  • GCSE Maths and English Grade 6 (B)
  • A strong work ethic
  • Effective communication and team working skills
  • Attention to detail and an enquiring mind.
