Location: Stone, Staffordshire, United Kingdom. This exciting opportunity will be based in Stone, Staffordshire, and will require you to be in the office 3 days a week. You'll be part of a dynamic and supportive engineering team dedicated to providing innovative solutions to our customers. This opportunity requires a proactive attitude and a willingness to engage with service repair, commissioning, and maintenance teams. Our team consists of eight engineers, selected for their exceptional skills and training, offering great exposure to top talent.
How You'll Make An Impact- Offer technical advice to customers on the effective and efficient use of our products and equipment.
- Commission, install, and test our products and equipment to ensure they adhere to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Address and resolve complex issues that may emerge during the implementation or operation of our products and equipment.
- Investigate and suggest new product equipment upgrades to boost customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Build and sustain strong customer relationships by understanding their needs and expectations, thereby securing future business opportunities.
- Work in conjunction with the Power Grids Grid Automation Engineering Department to support the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of SCADA systems, communication networks, and protection systems.
The degrees we are considering are in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Engineering, Construction, and Software Engineering. We are looking for someone with a positive approach to engineering. Strong communication skills and ability to talk to all levels within the business. Eager to learn and self-develop through self-teaching and inquisitive engagement. We offer an on-site Buddy system ensuring continuous learning and development. Occasional nationwide travel across the UK. The possibility of offshore training gives ability to travel to offshore sites.
