Role Accountabilities:
- To monitor all enquiries that are emailed to the business and follow up to confirm information and distribute to the sales team.
- To follow up on all leads and pass to sales team.
- To support Telesales team inputting internally validated information into CRM package to generate quote efficiently.
- To generate new business sales within specific industry sectors in line with Group expectations from existing clients and potential new clients; providing first-class customer service.
- To support website (Chat) online customers' instant access.
- To support Telesales team, answering calls, Quotes, online enquiries.
- To account manage regular long-standing accounts.
- Demonstrate CSG performance behaviours.
- Comply with Group H&S policies and behaviours.
- Work collaboratively with the Marketing, Tendering and Telesales teams.
- Answer inbound calls from all customers professionally and promote all CSG services through direct communication such as telephone calls and emails.
- Develop new relationships with current accounts and generate income for the Group in line with a target of invoiced revenue.
- Contact and handle customer's needs by building relationships and account managing key clients.
- Follow up on all web enquiries and confirm enquiry details.
- Ensure effective communication flows between all customers and Telesales teams.
- Act on all leads and customer information as supplied by the website and CSG Team.
- Ensure any individual market research undertaken is shared with the tendering, sales and marketing teams.
- Ensure all sales administration is completed and submitted in line with deadlines.
- Ensure all customer activity is logged on the CRM package, including all interaction, calls, emails, opportunities, quotes and complaints.
- Compliance with the Group's H&S policy and behaviours.
- Ensure personal responsibilities under the Group's H&S policy are understood.
- Act in a manner that keeps yourself and your colleagues safe at all times.
- Demonstrate and provide the highest levels of service and professionalism to internal and external customers.
- Be proactive and adopt a focused approach to all your activities.
- Communicate clearly at all levels within the business.
- Proactively manage your time and activities to maintain a high level of efficiency and output.
The Candidate:
- Degree Qualification.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills including an ability to effectively deal with telephone and email enquiries.
- Maintains and inspires a results‑driven approach, focuses on results and critical performance indicators.
- Identifies opportunities and is pro‑active in putting forward ideas and potential solutions.
- Shows by a range of verbal and non‑verbal signals that the information being received is understood.
- Good IT skills with experience of using MS Outlook, Word and Excel preferable.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective organisational skills.
- Evidence of ability to work co‑operatively with others to meet tight deadlines.
- To complete Customer Service apprenticeship Level 2.
- Option to complete essentials to telesales (BMS) after 12 months.
