Key Responsibilities
- Managing and monitoring of work activities carried out against the pre‑determined schedule, the number of items supplied and costs
- Monitoring of staff, labour and plant hire rates utilized on the contract; compiling monthly reports and managing cost allocation
- Organising and tracking the procurement of sub‑contractors
- Being responsible for the preparation and internal governance authorisation of subcontractor payments
- Assisting in the placing of subcontract tasks orders in accordance with the main contract
- Attending operational & subcontractor meetings; monitoring subcontractors against programme
- Assisting in the preparation of client and subcontract final accounts
- Ensuring the risk register and change register is kept up to date
- Supporting the monitoring of internal expenditure against budget/cost plans and maximising the efficiency of reporting techniques and systems
Experience And Qualifications
- Curious, driven graduates with a collaborative mindset, a willingness to learn and a desire to make an impact
- Final-year students or recent graduates with a role-related degree (2:2 or above)
- Full UK driving licence (some travel)
- Individuals who want responsibility early and enjoy learning by doing
- Must have graduated within the last two years
- Negotiation and influencing skills
- Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong commercial acumen
