We’re looking for an exceptional and motivated graduate surveyor to support the Knowsley Business Park Service and the Council’s ambitious Major Development Programme.
As a Graduate Surveyor Within The Major Development Team, You Will Assist In The Management And Development Of The Council’s Property Assets At Knowsley Business Park On a Range Of Property Matters, Including
- Property management including all landlord and tenant matters
- Property acquisitions and disposals
- Capital and rental valuations
- Inspection and measurement to RICS professional standards for a variety of purposes
- Implementing the Council’s plans for the business park, including liaising with other council professional services to ensure cohesive management of the park
- Advice to the Council on a full range of property matters, including the preparation of reports approving property transactions
- Develop an understanding of the council’s policies, plans, and strategies and how effective management of the business park can support these
- Maintain and develop property management systems as required, supplying and maintaining appropriate and accurate property information
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the business park, developing relationships with the businesses and tenants and promoting active management of the park
- Practical training leading to the professional competencies and MRICS qualification
- Ability to work as part of a small team or independently if required and to develop relationships with other council departments
You will hold a recognised degree leading to full membership of the RICS prepared to undertake the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence.
