About The Role
The Graduate Network Engineer troubleshoots and resolves routine and complex network, hardware, and operating system issues in a timely manner while maintaining a 99.99% uptime rate for all systems. Given the global nature of our business, our engineers work in a rotating shift pattern offering 24/7 support to our customers.
In this role, you can expect to improve and advance in service software as well as contribute to the development and deployment of new applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor internal and production systems and escalate/page L2 Engineers as required.
- Work incidents effectively and efficiently, engaging Engineering, Support, QA, and other personnel in accordance with established processes and procedures.
- Document problem descriptions and provide detailed problem diagnosis with accuracy and in compliance with established practices.
- Review and update the status of problems in trouble-ticketing system.
- Assist in maintaining Operations documentation, including support guides, knowledge base articles, and procedures.
- Participate in the transfer of information from one shift to the next.
- A proven passion for learning with a desire to work in the technical industry.
