Established in Gloucester in 1996, G-TEM operates five facilities across Europe, including locations in South Wales and Slovakia. The company specializes in advanced production processes such as automated stamping, assembly cells, wire forming, and die manufacturing. With an exceptional record of quality and multiple industry awards, G-TEM is part of the global G-TEKT Corporation, which has 29 facilities worldwide and extensive experience in vehicle body structure manufacturing.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gloucester for a Graduate Material Controller. The role involves managing material handling, coordinating materials management, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring the timely procurement and availability of essential materials. The Material Controller will work closely with internal teams and suppliers to optimize materials processes and support production efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Material Handling and Materials Management processes.
- Skills in Inventory Management and tracking systems.
- Experience with Materials procurement and supply chain coordination.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Just-In-Time (JIT) delivery concepts.
- IT literate in use of Microsoft Packages and QAD system.
- Excellent organisational skills, deadline adherence and exceptional attention to accuracy and detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
