The Role

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join our team based in Falkirk/Grangemouth. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to develop their commercial career within a supportive and technically driven environment. Working alongside experienced commercial and project teams, you will assist in managing costs, contracts, and financial performance across a range of projects within the industrial and infrastructure sectors. This job will initially run to the end of November but with high potential to become a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the preparation of cost estimates and budgets
  • Supporting the administration of contracts (NEC/JCT as applicable)
  • Assisting with valuations, applications for payment and final accounts
  • Monitoring project costs and identifying commercial risks
  • Supporting procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
  • Assisting with cost reporting and forecasting
  • Ensuring compliance with company procedures and commercial best practice

Requirements

  • Degree in a field related to quantity surveying
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Good understanding of commercial principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Desirable

  • Industrial, infrastructure or energy sector exposure (via placement or internship)
