Develop in-demand data skills while making a difference. Our Data Analyst Internship is an excellent opportunity to begin your career, offering hands-on experience working on real projects. You’ll join the Digital Design Team within the East Midlands Specialist Learning & Development Hub (EMSLDH) on a 12-month placement based at Force Headquarters.

Skills

  • You’ll gather data and use your analytical skills to provide detailed reports to senior stakeholders and produce KPIs.
  • As part of the team, you’ll support the design and development of dashboards.
  • Throughout the placement, you’ll receive guidance and support to build valuable, in-demand analytical skills, including:
  • Creating Power BI dashboards using data from a variety of sources
  • Producing reports identifying compliance to inform learning and development planning
  • Responding to a wide range of freedom of information requests
  • Identifying, gathering and reporting on relevant data

You Must Have

  • Ability to collect data and use analytical skills to interpret into graphical, verbal and written formats.
  • Experience preparing and presenting high-quality complex reports.
  • A logical, coherent and consistent approach to problem solving.
