General Motors Advanced Design is seeking an enthusiastic intern to join the Digital Sculpting or Design Visualization team at its new UK studio in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. An entry‑level internship as either a Digital Sculptor or Design Visualization Artist under the mentorship of senior sculptors and visualization artists.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating and visualizing new designs for automotive vehicles and mobility products such as interiors, exteriors, colour and trim, brand and components.
  • Working collaboratively in a design team to achieve defined design goals.
  • Following the design process from initial sketches through to final release of models.
  • Presenting working‑level and final digital models, images, renderings, and animations to management and leadership.
  • Understanding 3-D form and surface transition (sculpting) and basic animation and rendering.
  • Communicating design intent with team members and cross‑functional partners.
  • Meeting program timelines and task completion in a deadline‑driven environment.
  • Collaborating with sculpting, engineering and fabrication teams during development of new designs.
  • Maintaining knowledge of current design trends and technology.
