Recognising how pivotal the transition from university to clinical practice can be, Animal Trust has designed a new Graduate Programme, created by vets, for vets, to help you build the confidence, competence, and compassion needed for a fulfilling career.
Programme Details
- Two-year structured Graduate Programme designed to nurture, support and empower newly qualified vets as they take their first steps into practice life.
- Gain hands-on experience, clinical confidence, and lifelong skills through guided learning and dedicated mentorship — all within a friendly, collaborative environment.
- 2 year structured programme with no financial tie-in.
- 1-month settling-in period to meet your team and get comfortable.
- Starting salary of £35,875, with an increase in your second year.
- Peer-to-peer support group for shared learning and encouragement.
- Dedicated VetGDP Advisor for one-to-one guidance.
- Weekly group webinar training and monthly practical day sessions.
- Dedicated 1-2-1 time for pastoral and professional support.
- Hands-on experience with a varied and exciting caseload across medicine, surgery, and ECC.
- Over 100 hours of CPD delivered throughout the programme.
- Paid RCVS and VDS memberships.
- Defined career pathways within Animal Trust for those wishing to progress.
- 6 weeks annual leave plus access to a wide range of company benefits.
