This is a ‘commercial’ graduate scheme where the successful candidates will join a pivotal commercial business function within an FMCG environment. The function’s key purpose is to grow our business by improving our sales and profit performance, sitting at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for motivated learners, who love working in a fast‑moving environment, can develop first‑class communication and commercial skills, and enjoy early responsibility.

Scheme Details

The scheme is 18 months in duration and is based in our St Albans office in Hertfordshire. It starts on 7 September 2026, the same date as all our other graduates. First, you will spend 3 months with ‘Stand Out’, our field sales team, learning about customers, brands and consumer buying. A car will be issued for this period; you must be able to drive. Subsequently you will have two head‑office placements, gaining a broad understanding of the commercial function. Placements can include Category Management, Commercial Planning, Online Trading or Strategic Planning & Investment. At the end of the scheme, successful completion may lead to a promotion to Customer Account Executive, Category Executive or another suitable role aligning with your skills.

  • Hybrid working – at least 2–3 days per week in our office.
  • Contribution to ESG strategy through charity and volunteering.

Do you qualify?

  • Degree‑qualified, ideally in a business‑related field.
  • Understanding of the UK FMCG/retail sectors.
  • Analytical and highly numerate skills.
  • Legal right to work in the UK from the start date.
  • Relocation to St Albans, AL1 2RE; availability for overnight stays elsewhere.
