We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Graduate to join our UK Mail Team in Feb 2026. Our graduate scheme is designed to develop our future talent by giving you real responsibility from day one. You will join a dynamic Commercial team who will support you throughout with structured training, exciting projects, and invaluable industry experience. During your time on the programme, you will get the opportunity to understand the EVRi and UK Mail Operations and will complete a Sales Executive Level 4 Apprenticeship to develop your Commercial knowledge and skills.
Key Responsibilities
- You will gain experience in and an understanding of what is required to take ownership of medium-sized mail customers.
- You will develop skills to prospect, pitch and convert new medium-sized mail customers.
- You will build strong relationships with procurement bodies, print management companies, and mailing houses.
- You will get exposure to preparing and delivering compelling sales propositions, tenders, and pricing models.
- You will receive training in Finance and Invoicing.
- You will develop your network, working across multiple business areas, collaborating with senior stakeholders and presenting insights to Heads of and Directors.
- By the end of the programme, we aim to develop you to take complete control of our customers and be responsible for leading sales, onboarding and implementation meetings and ensuring a seamless transition to account management.
- You will receive mentoring and join a network of emerging talent through our EVRi Emerging Talent Development programme.
- This role is a hybrid role and you will be able to work 1 day a week at 1 of our 58 locations.
What you will need to become a Business Development Graduate:
- A minimum of 2:2 degree in Business, Marketing, Project Management or any other related field.
- Demonstrable communication, relationship building, and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to learn, curious and resilient.
- Creative thinking with a positive sense of initiative and eager to learn.
- Strong analytical, reporting and time management skills.
- Good attention to detail and ability to turn data into actions.
- Excellent commercial acumen and presentation skills.
- Computer literate and confident with the MS Office suite.
- Full clean UK driving licence.
