Are you a newly qualified Veterinary Surgeon looking to begin your career in a supportive, friendly, and progressive practice by the sea? Rosevean Veterinary Practice is excited to welcome a motivated and compassionate New Graduate to join our Small Animal team. Rosevean Veterinary Practice is a well‑established, community‑focused clinic located in the heart of West Cornwall. We pride ourselves on delivering high‑quality, patient‑focused care while maintaining a warm and collaborative working environment.

Our experienced team is dedicated to mentoring and supporting new graduates as they transition into practice. Located on the stunning Cornish coast, Penzance offers an exceptional quality of life. From sandy beaches and coastal walks to a vibrant arts scene and easy access to the rest of Cornwall, it’s an ideal place to live and work.

This position will be focused exclusively on small animal work. This is a full‑time, permanent position ideal for a new graduate eager to develop their clinical skills and confidence. You will work alongside experienced vets and nurses, gaining hands‑on experience in all aspects of small animal practice, including consultations, surgery, diagnostics, and inpatient care.

We are proud to provide our own Out of Hours service, which means this role has an OOH requirement. OOH is covered by our team on an approximate 1:6 rota. As part of the Graduate Development Programme at VetPartners, you will embrace a blended learning approach of training days, in‑house mentoring, CPD, and clinical practice, creating a varied platform for you to grow and develop as a Veterinary Surgeon. You will be offered both supportive one‑to‑one and group mentoring sessions, fostering engagement and interaction, as you develop an invaluable skillset.

From surgical/medical experience to enjoying teamwork, providing refined customer service, and gaining business knowledge to support the security of great patient care.
