This is a pivotal time for Warrington Borough Council. We are building a new Transformation and Improvement Team to help make big improvements. The Transformation and Improvement Graduate roles offer a unique opportunity to play an active part in this work, contributing to high impact projects while developing the skills and experience needed for a career in public service leadership.

As a Graduate within the Transformation and Improvement Team, you will support work on a number of complex projects that support improvement, performance, policy, and organisational change. You will take on real responsibility, carrying out research, developing solutions, and working with senior officers, elected members, and partners.

You will be supported to develop professionally through mentoring, networking, and exposure to a wide range of strategic issues facing local government. The role is designed to stretch and challenge you, building your confidence and capability while allowing you to make a genuine contribution to the council’s recovery and future sustainability.
