Over the two‑year self‑directed programme, you’ll gain a unique insight into the nuclear industry. This starts with broad exposure across teams and customers and evolves into discipline‑focused work that aligns with your career ambitions. Within our programme, there will be opportunities to rotate through different teams and projects to help grow your knowledge, skills and behaviours.
Qualifications:
We’re looking for graduates who have (or are expecting) a degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Science, or a closely related discipline and who are interested in developing a career in nuclear safety within highly regulated environments. If you’re curious about how safety is designed into complex systems, enjoy structured problem‑solving, and want to understand how risk is assessed, justified, and managed across the full lifecycle of nuclear facilities, this could be the ideal next step for you.
Additional Information:
To join our Graduate Scheme, you must be a UK sole national and a UK resident, as this is required for the type of work we do. You’ll also need to be able to obtain a minimum of Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance, with some roles requiring higher levels of clearance. As part of the programme, you should also be willing to relocate or travel within the UK, and we’ll provide relocation support where needed.
Recruitment Process:
After submitting your application, you’ll receive confirmation of next steps. If successful at screening, one of our recruitment team will call you to discuss your application and eligibility, your passion for energy transformation, and your interest in and knowledge of your chosen discipline. Successful applicants will then be invited to attend an in‑person assessment centre at one of our UK offices.
Diversity & Inclusion:
We are committed to equal treatment of candidates and promote all forms of diversity within our company. Bringing together people with different backgrounds and perspectives is essential for creating innovative and impactful solutions. Skills, talent, and our people’s ability to dare are the only things that matter. Bring your unique contributions and help us shape the future.
