The Role

Ferrovial Construction is looking for a BIM Graduate to join the Quality and Design Department. The Ferrovial 2-year graduate development programme is designed to develop personal, professional, and technical skills through a blended approach. Location – Euston, London.

Key Accountabilities

  • Utilise digital systems, Common Data Environments (CDE), and industry-standard software such as Dalux and Procore to support project delivery.
  • Modify 2D models and develop proficiency in 3D modelling practices under the guidance of line management.
  • Develop an understanding of project-specific BIM documentation, including BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), Master Information Delivery Plans (MIDPs), and Employer's Information Requirements (EIRs).
  • Prepare clear reports summarising project activities, including site visits and technical observations.
  • Gain an understanding of commonly used forms of contract, including NEC and JCT.
  • Support the review, checking, and verification of project deliverables to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
  • Manage project documentation, and assist in maintaining up-to-date records within project information systems.

  • Excellent written and communication skills and ability to interact at a variety of levels.
  • Degree or master’s in BIM, Architecture, Architectural or Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Building Surveying, Construction Management.
  • Motivated to learn and add value to the team, the role, and the Graduate program.
  • Analytical thinker who enjoys problem solving.
  • Logical mindset with strong numerical skills.
  • Proficient at analysing and manipulating large amounts of data and information.
  • A proven team player who can effectively work with others.
  • Enjoys working under pressure to meet deadlines.

  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of the industry.
  • Familiar with all Microsoft packages.

Software Proficiency

  • Office 365, iTWIN, BIC, ProjectWise / Bentley, Bentley Open Roads, Open Buildings, MicroStation or similar.
  • Autodesk Forma, Autodesk AutoCAD / Revit / Naviswork / Civil 3D or similar.

Essential

  • Must have the right to work in the UK by the start of employment and throughout the entirety of the graduate program.
