The predicted salary is between 11 - 16 £ per hour.
This is a one-year Industrial Placement starting on 7th September 2026. To be eligible for this programme, you must be currently studying at University and undertaking a one-year industrial placement as part of your course. You must be returning to University in September 2027. This placement will be based in our Basildon office.
Application Process

Job Purpose
The Placement student will work with all teams within Renaissance Asset Finance, to support the originating of new asset finance business through both broker relationships and direct customer channels, and support the after-sales service provided to our customers. To place the interests of customers at the centre of all activities, act in a way that is consistent with achieving good outcomes for consumers and to comply with the FCA and PRA's Conduct Rules.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare proposals for submission onto underwriting by completing various searches and obtaining valuations.
- Communicate decisions received from the underwriter to the broker, sales person or customer.
- Chasing Brokers and salespeople for updates on pending and agreed proposals.
- Raising and checking documentation to be signed.
- Checking deals for payout, ensuring all necessary documentation is present and correct and in line with credit approval.
- Assist with customer queries, alerts regarding our assets and their insurance status and offboarding agreements in line with GDPR.
- Set up new brokers and complete checks on our existing brokers to support their annual reviews.
- Assist with ad hoc reporting and data cleansing projects.
- Contribute new ideas for the development of the business and improvement in team effectiveness.
- Build relationships with team colleagues and across the wider firm.
