Programme OverviewDiscover your future with a Spring Insight Week at Bank of America. Get a head start on your career by taking part in our 4 day, in‑person Spring Insight Program. The program will introduce you to Bank of America, our strategy, culture, and values as well as provide you with professional development opportunities to equip you with some essential skills and set you up for success. Global Operations develops innovative strategies and solutions designed to enhance our clients’ performance and supports clients in reaching their business goals. We deliver end‑to‑end trade lifecycle support for securities, loans, exchange and OTC derivative products beginning from pre‑trade onboarding, including KYC (Know Your Client)/AML (Anti‑Money Laundering) reviews, through to trade booking affirmation, settlement and reconciliation. We provide cross‑business functional support including asset servicing, client asset reconciliation, cash management, collateral, reconciliation, and fees & billing. We have a dedicated Client Operational Services group to provide simplified client interactions and deepen client relationships across Global Banking and Markets clients. As a Spring Insight Program participant, you can expect to:

  • Be invited to a series of virtual spotlight sessions that introduce specific areas within Global Operations, where future vacancies for Junior Talent exists
  • Take part in interactive breakout sessions and case studies /simulations
  • Network with business representatives and student peers
  • Partner up with an allocated buddy who will support you throughout the week
  • Experience and learn about the work and culture of the whole organization

  • Hear from our recruiters as they share key tips and guidance on how to ace your interviews

  • Be invited to an exclusive, in‑person Assessment Centre on Day 4, to be considered for a confirmed place on our Summer Internship Program 2027. (Note: Global Operations roles would be based in Chester)

Eligibility

  • Candidates should be pursuing an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university expecting to graduate in 2028
  • Have obtained a minimum of 112 UCAS points at A levels or equivalent
  • Studying towards any degree subject
  • If successful at assessment centre, be able to join the Summer Intern programme between June 2027 to August 2027.

What we are looking for

  • Excellent academics are important, but you’ll also need to demonstrate key qualities such as initiative, self‑motivation, teamwork, leadership and problem‑solving skills
  • A genuine interest in financial services
  • Fluency in English is essential
