How you will Energise Our Team We are looking for a motivated and analytical Graduate Commercial Analyst to support the development, performance, and optimisation of our commercial propositions and sales support function. You will help turn data into actionable insight, supporting pricing and proposition decisions while improving processes and commercial performance. You will work closely with the Commercial Product & Propositions Manager and wider teams to deliver reporting, analysis, and continuous improvements.

This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate with strong Excel and analytical skills to develop their commercial acumen in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment. You will gain hands‑on experience, structured support, and exposure to key areas of the business as you build your career in commercial analysis and insight.

Responsibilities

  • Support the production of regular and ad hoc reporting on sales performance, propositions, and TPI channel activity.
  • Assist in analysing trends in pricing, conversion, margin, and customer behaviours to help identify risks and opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development of commercial recommendations through clear, data‑led insight.
  • Support competitor and market analysis, including tracking pricing and proposition movements.
  • Assist in the development and ongoing optimisation of commercial propositions.
  • Help ensure data accuracy and consistency across commercial reporting and models.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and support implementation through data and insight.
  • Maintain and update key commercial reports, dashboards, and Excel models.
  • Respond to data requests and support stakeholders across the business.
  • Provide analytical support for projects, business cases, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the Commercial P&P Manager in preparing materials for senior stakeholders.

The Spark we’re Looking For

  • A minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent), ideally in a STEM, Economics, Finance or related analytical discipline.
  • A recent graduate with a strong analytical mindset and a genuine interest in developing a career in commercial insights.
  • Exposure to tools such as Power BI, SQL or similar data/visualisation tools (desirable).
  • An individual motivated to gain hands‑on experience across pricing, sales performance and commercial decision‑making.
  • The ability to work confidently with data, identify trends and translate findings into meaningful insights.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data and insights clearly to a range of audiences.
  • A collaborative team player, comfortable working cross‑functionally within a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong Excel capabilities (including formulas, pivot tables and data manipulation).
