Overview
Joining our Audit & Assurance team at Azets. Our Audit & Assurance department is the largest of our service offerings, serving clients of varying sizes across a broad range of industries. As an Audit Associate, you will build your auditing skills by assisting on statutory audits, applying expanding technical knowledge to real-life scenarios, problem solving, analysing data and presenting your findings.
What you\'ll need
- Right to work in the UK from your start date.
- Minimum 2:2 undergraduate degree.
Your responsibilities
- Attending internal audit planning meetings
- Working with clients to understand their business and internal processes to aid planning for audit testing
- Performing regular audit testing to provide assurance over financial statements
- Using audit technologies to analyse client financial information and identify risks and errors
- Reviewing financial statements prepared by the client or Azets team
- Communicating regularly with clients, in person and virtually
- Sending queries to clients to obtain evidence and reconciling with expectations
- Scheduling regular catch-ups with the client and team to meet audit deadlines
- Raising and discussing differences between client evidence and data on the financial statements with seniors
