Opportunity: We’re looking for an apprentice to join our Nature team within Climate and Sustainability Services. We are looking for a prospective undergraduate with diverse interests within nature, ecology and biodiversity. Our Nature team consultants offer a service aimed at developing nature‑related policy and guidance, optioneering and assessing development and corporate impacts on nature (including ecology field surveys), creative and innovative designs and implementation that will lead us to nature recovery and net zero, assessing and auditing natural capital and corporate nature‑related financial disclosures, supporting stakeholder engagement, gaining regulatory approvals, and managing risk and controlling costs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop nature‑related policy and guidance
  • Optioneering and assessing development and corporate impacts on nature (including ecology field surveys)
  • Design and implement creative solutions for nature recovery and net zero
  • Assess and audit natural capital and corporate nature‑related financial disclosures
  • Support stakeholder engagement, secure regulatory approvals, manage risk and control costs

Qualifications:

  • Five or more GCSEs at grade 5 or above including Maths and English
  • Minimum of 3 A levels at grade C or equivalent, or a level 3 apprenticeship
