Overview: Ricardo, a global strategic, environmental, and engineering consulting company, is looking for graduates to join our Rail team. The role is a first step into a consultancy career in a rapidly changing sector. From day one you will be part of a team supporting senior consultants in delivering projects to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage your time across several projects, contributing at all phases from supporting the preparation of proposals to delivering the project and liaising with clients.
- Ensure quality and delivery of your work and collaborate with other consultants to integrate your contribution into wider project outputs.
- Participate in client management training, presenting, project management, people management, and other commercial skill development.
Graduate Development Programme:
Our two‑year Graduate Development Programme supports personal and professional growth through blended learning, core business and professional skills training, career development workshops, networking, mentoring for professional registration, and on‑the‑job experience.
Key Qualifications:
- Graduated with at least a 2:1 in a master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Rail Systems or Systems Engineering.
- Must complete the application form in full and an online skill enabler assessment.
- Start work in September 2026.
- Interest in the rail sector.
- Desire to work on a variety of projects in multidisciplinary teams.
- Ambition and confidence to become a technical consultant and future leader.
