About the Programme
The Audit School Leaver Apprenticeship Programme at BDO is a four‑year apprenticeship route that prepares candidates to qualify as ACA, CFAB, or ICAS/RGU. The programme starts on Monday 21 September 2026 for most locations, with Scotland beginning on 31 August 2026. It offers real project work, exposure to high‑profile clients with tangible impact, and personal development within a supportive cohort.
Location and Working Hours
Applicants must live within commuting distance of the Manchester office – relocation support is not provided. In‑office time is essential for learning, building relationships and fully engaging with the programme.
Salary and Benefits
Salary is £26,615 per annum. The apprenticeship includes a cohort of peers, access to training resources, and a permanent role upon successful completion.

Qualifications

Equivalent qualifications (for example, BTech extended diploma) will be accepted on a case‑by‑case basis. UCAS points are not used; evidence will be required.
- Have GCSEs at grade 4 or above in Maths and English, or Scottish National 5 grades A–C. Evidence will be required.
- Show a commitment to balancing study and professional work.
- Have the right to work in the UK from the start of employment.
