Responsibilities
- CPD and employee mentoring: use of TES CPD suite and professional mentor access.
- Support the SEND team to provide a supportive environment for you and the child.
- Participate in community and company events for knowledge sharing and resources.
- Manage the referral programme: receive rewards for successful tutor referrals.
- Plan and report lessons; provide regular feedback on student progress.
- Plan, deliver, and report on flexible, trauma‑informed tutoring and mentoring to pupils and students ranging from KS1‑KS5, referred by local authorities and schools.
Qualifications & Experience
- Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
- At least 2 years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic, trauma‑informed way.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS).
- Enhanced DBS check (facilitation available) and 2+ professional references.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
Location & Compensation
Daventry, Northamptonshire – £28 to £35 per hour. Must be based in the UK with the right to work.
