Core subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEN / SEND Tutors for Young People with SEND, SEMH, and other Additional Educational Needs required in Lincolnshire. Multiple positions are available and hiring is ongoing to meet the wide variety of needs we support.

We are on a mission to transform the quality of education provided to young people with SEN (Special Education Needs) / SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities), as well as other needs such as SEMH needs (Social, Emotional and Mental Health). We are increasing support for children and young people with MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties) and SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties).

We are looking for SEN / SEND tutors with a genuine passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners in Lincolnshire. At Targeted Provision, our mission is to raise the standard of educational support offered to vulnerable young people in the UK. You will be supported throughout every placement by our team of SEN / SEND Support Specialists.

This role is perfect for qualified SEN / SEND teachers eager to work via 1:1 tutoring with children and young people with various learning needs, in a creative, flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed manner, to enhance their engagement and educational outlook.

The SEN / SEND Tutor Role
  • Providing Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other needs referred by local authorities and schools
  • Supporting their educational and social-emotional journey through flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
SEN / SEND Tutor Tasks And Responsibilities
  • Planning each teaching/tutoring/mentoring session
  • Delivering holistic, engaging sessions tailored to individual needs
  • Completing lesson reports and providing feedback on progress
SEN / SEND Tutor Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other educational needs
  • Knowledge of safeguarding processes
  • Enhanced DBS (assistance available to obtain)
  • Two professional references
  • Based in the UK with right to work, even for remote assignments
