What Makes This Role Right For You We are working with Schools and Local Authorities in your area and are looking for Core Subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEND Tutors and Teachers to transform the lives of Young People with SEND and SEMH needs in your community. The Benefits We Offer Our SEND Tutor And Teachers Competitive pay: £28 - £35 per hour Flexible working: In person, hybrid, and work-from-home teaching opportunities Flexible hours: Part‑time up to full‑time hours to suit your schedule CPD and employee mentoring: TES CPD suite and professional mentor access SEND Support Team: Support to keep a team around you and the child Community and company events: Knowledge sharing and resources Referral programme: Get rewarded for successful tutor referrals A role with purpose: Join a child‑centred company committed to reimagining the world of support for vulnerable young people for the better SEND Tutor and Teacher role requirements Experience: 2+ years teaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma‑informed way Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS) Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references Location: You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote/online jobs Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment The SEND Tutor and Teacher role and responsibilities Provide in‑person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs, including MLD, SLD, PMLD, and other Additional Educational Needs Support pupils and students ranging from KS1‑KS5 (as appropriate for your skills), referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma‑informed tutoring and mentoring Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress We are on a mission to raise the standard of education provided to young people with SEND, as well as other needs such as SEMH needs.
