This role supports pupils and students, from KS1 to KS5 (as appropriate for your skills), referred by local authorities and schools, by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring. Responsibilities

  • CPD and employee mentoring: TES CPD suite and professional mentor access
  • SEND Support Team: Provide support to keep a team around you and the child
  • Community and Company Events: Knowledge sharing and resources
  • Referral Programme: Get rewarded for successful tutor referrals
  • Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress

Role with Purpose

Support pupils and students, ranging from KS1 to KS5 (as appropriate for your skills), referred by local authorities and schools, by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience: 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed approach
  • Subjects: Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
  • Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references
  • Location: Must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK
  • Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment
