Multiple positions are available; hiring is ongoing and interviews are being arranged as applications come in. What makes this role right for you We are working with Schools and Local Authorities in your area and are looking for Core Subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEND Tutors and Teachers to transform the lives of Young People with SEND and SEMH needs in your community. We are looking for SEND Tutors and Teachers with a genuine passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners. Role requirements Experience: 2+ years teaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way
Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references
Location: You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote / online jobs
Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment
Responsibilities Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs, including MLD, SLD, PMLD, and other Additional Educational Needs
Support pupils and students, ranging from KS1 – KS5 (as appropriate for your skills), referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
