You can be the teacher who plans around the learner, not a scheme of work - the teacher a vulnerable young person actually needs. None of the teaching-at-scale trade-off, less admin, just one person and the part of teaching you care about.

We're recruiting experienced SEND teachers across West Yorkshire, £28 - £35 per hour, for one-to-one work with children and young people who haven't been served by mainstream provision.

  • Flexible schedule: Part-time or full-time, around your other commitments. You set your hours and choose your placements.
  • Work from home: Planning, prep, and reporting from home; hybrid placements available alongside in-person teaching.
  • Tes CPD access: Unlimited use of the Tes professional development library, plus our own SEMH-focused CPD.
  • Mentoring programme: Regular check-ins and expert guidance throughout every placement.
  • Specialist team behind you: SENDCos, Designated Safeguarding Leads, senior special-school leaders, and experienced tutors backing every placement.
  • Tutor community events: Online drop-ins, knowledge-sharing sessions, and a community of fellow teachers and tutors.

How we work: We meet each young person where they are - safeguarding wrapped around the work, engagement before attainment, child-led and matched to your approach. We match, we don't dictate. Trauma-informed teaching that's transformative, not a gap filler - trusted by Local Authorities and schools across the UK.
