We work with schools and local authorities to support young people with SEND, SEMH and other special educational needs. This role is for Core Subject (Maths, English or Science) SEND tutors and teachers.

Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years of teaching, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD and/or PMLD in a trauma‑informed way
- Subjects: familiarity teaching English, Maths and/or Science
- Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
- Compliance: enhanced DBS (facilitated if needed) and 2+ professional references
- Location: must be based in the UK with right to work in the UK, even for remote/online jobs
- Safeguarding: knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment
Responsibilities
- Teach Maths, English or Science tuition to children, teenagers and young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, PMLD and other additional educational needs, in person, online or hybrid
- Support pupils and students KS1-KS5 (as appropriate), referred by local authorities and schools, by planning and delivering flexible, trauma‑informed tutoring and mentoring
- Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
- Contribute to the mission to raise the standard of education for young people with SEND and related needs
