Ready to build your career in Risk and make a real impact? We’re looking for a Risk & Controls Executive to join our friendly 2nd Line Risk team. You’ll play a key role in helping the business understand and manage risk—making sure the right controls are in place to protect our customers, clients, and colleagues.
You’ll work closely with our Head of Risk and Senior Risk Manager, supporting and improving our Enterprise Risk Management Framework, and working with teams across the business to challenge, guide, and support how risk is managed day to day.
What you’ll get stuck into:
- Helping shape and improve how we manage risk across the business
- Reviewing risk assessments and controls, asking the right questions and suggesting improvements
- Testing controls and working with teams to fix things where needed
- Creating clear, easy‑to‑understand reports that highlight key risks and trends
- Building great relationships across the business while keeping an independent Risk perspective
- Supporting audits, governance forums, and regulatory requirements
- Sharing ideas to improve systems, processes, and ways of working
- Supporting incident and event management, including data breaches when required
Requirements:
You’re someone who:
