We’re looking for a Programme Manager on an interim basis to take ownership of high‑impact programmes and portfolios, guiding a team of Project Managers to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients and our business.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead People
- Inspire, motivate and develop a team of Project Managers
- Build strong succession plans and lead with clear, confident communication
- Delight Clients
- Champion high delivery standards across Target
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders at every level
- Ensure projects are expertly scoped, planned, and delivered to agreed milestones
- Drive Financial Performance
- Deliver programmes on time, within budget, and to quality expectations
- Work with Finance and PMO to ensure accurate financial control and reporting
- Support bids, pricing, and commercial negotiations
- Enhance Processes
- Run programmes in line with Target’s frameworks, ensuring compliance and control
- Report progress, elevate risks, and embed lessons learned
- Promote continuous improvement, lean delivery, and high performance
- Ensure risks are managed responsibly and regulatory standards are always met

Experience & Qualifications
- You have:
- A PM qualification (APM, Prince2, or equivalent)
- Strong commercial and portfolio awareness
- Confidence working with clients and internal teams
- Experience leading projects using both Waterfall and Agile
- Programme and project scheduling skills (MS Project)
- A track record delivering on time, cost and quality
- Experience developing and leading PMs and Programme Managers
- Experience working with KPIs and resource management
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience delivering in outsourced or Financial Services environments
- BPO experience or offshore team collaboration
- Exposure to ISO/CMMI
- Agile qualifications
- MSP certification
