Facilities Officer Cardiff Office with occasional travel to our Newport Office | Fully On Site | Monday – Friday £28,000 per annum

What you’ll be doing
- Supporting our Facilities Manager with a variety of tasks across our 2 offices.
- Being responsible for the access control system – ensuring ID badges are issued to starters, dealing with any access changes and disabling cards where required.
- Responding to Facilities ServiceDesk requests within agreed SLA’s.
- Escalating any risk of hazards with appropriate urgency.
- Supporting the Facilities Manager in delivering scheduled Health & Safety checks of our properties.
- Reviewing First Aiders / Fire Marshals to ensure adequate numbers scheduling training courses when required, to ensure cover onsite is maintained.
- Scheduling planned and reactive maintenance of site with external contractors.
- Stock management and ordering of stationery supplies and printer consumables for the company.
- Ordering catering and setting up meeting rooms for client or colleague meetings.
What you’ll bring
- You’re professional, approachable and organised — someone who solves problems before they become problems.
- You’re confident communicating with everyone, proactive in getting things done, and happy juggling a busy to‑do list.
- Experience in customer service or facilities is great (but not essential), and you’ll need solid IT skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- First Aid, Fire Marshal or NVQ qualifications are a bonus!
