About the Role

We’re looking for a Fire Door Installer to join our fire safety division. This is a mobile role involving the installation, replacement and repairs of fire doors, frames, and associated components across commercial and residential buildings. The role is suited to a skilled carpenter or multi-skilled operative with experience fitting doors – particularly fire-rated doors – and carrying out high-quality remedial work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, replace and repair fire doors, frames, hinges, closers, locks, intumescent materials, and associated hardware
  • Remove and dispose of old or damaged fire doors and frames safely and professionally
  • Ensure all installations meet fire safety standards, manufacturer requirements, and industry best practice
  • Carry out fire door remedial works, including adjustments, repairs, and upgrades
  • Work from inspection reports or job specifications to plan and complete works
  • Record completed works accurately on a digital system (tablet provided)
  • Liaise professionally with clients and site representatives
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
  • Follow all site and company health and safety procedures
