About the Role

We are looking for a Fire Stopper to join our fire safety team. This is a hands-on, site-based role carrying out fire stopping works to help prevent the spread of fire and smoke through buildings. Fire stopping involves sealing gaps and openings around pipes, cables, walls, and floors using specialist fire-rated materials. Experience is useful, but we are also open to people with a construction or maintenance background who are willing to learn. This is a mobile role, working across multiple sites.

Requirements

  • Carry out fire stopping works to walls, floors, and service penetrations
  • Install fire-rated sealants, collars, wraps, batt, and other fire stopping products
  • Follow basic drawings, instructions, and manufacturer guidelines
  • Ensure work areas are kept clean, safe, and tidy
  • General drylining tasks (with fire board)
