We are looking for a Fire Stopper to join our fire safety team. This is a hands-on, site-based role carrying out fire stopping works to help prevent the spread of fire and smoke through buildings.
Fire stopping involves sealing gaps and openings around pipes, cables, walls, and floors using specialist fire-rated materials. This is a mobile role, working across multiple sites.
- Carry out fire stopping works to walls, floors, and service penetrations
- Install fire-rated sealants, collars, wraps, batt, and other fire stopping products
- Ensure work areas are kept clean, safe, and tidy
- General drylining tasks (with fire board)
- Take photos and record completed works using a tablet or phone
- Work safely and follow company health & safety procedures
Experience in fire stopping or construction/maintenance work is required. A full UK driving licence is preferred due to travel.
Company van & fuel card provided. Day rate (contract): approx. £Company uniform & PPE. Tablet/phone provided. Overtime opportunities.
