About the Role
We’re looking for a Fire Alarm Engineer to join our growing fire safety division. In this hands-on role, you’ll install, maintain, and fault-find on a range of fire alarm systems across our client sites, ensuring all work is completed safely, on time, and in line with regulations. This role would suit someone who enjoys autonomy, takes pride in high standards, and is comfortable working in a mobile, field-based environment.
Requirements
- Key Responsibilities
- Service and commission fire alarm & AOV systems
- Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on a variety of fire alarm systems
- Fault-finding and diagnostics
- Ensure work complies with BS5839 standards and other relevant regulations
- Maintain accurate records and complete reports via internal systems
- Liaise with office teams and clients on scheduling, access, and issues
- Uphold strong health and safety practices at all times
- Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience with a range of addressable and conventional fire alarm systems
- Familiarity with brands like Apollo, Advanced, Kentec, C-Tec, etc.
- Understanding of fire safety regulations (BS5839)
- Electrical Installation lvl 3
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Basic IT skills for completing reports and updates
- Full UK driving licence
