This is a Fixed Term contract, with a current end date of September 2026.

Salary from £28,000 per annum

As a Junior Business Analyst, you’ll play a key role in the successful delivery of projects and change initiatives. Working closely with key stakeholders and delivery teams across the business, you’ll help shape solutions that are fit for purpose, commercially viable and aligned to the organisations strategic goals.

Your responsibilities will include capturing and analysing business requirements, both functional and non-functional to ensure clarity and completeness. You’ll work across departments to gather insights, produce detailed process flows, and create requirement documentation that supports informed decision making.

More Specifically, you\’ll:

  • Provide guidance and support to the Project team members, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure solutions remain aligned with requirements
  • Attend and actively participate in all client and internal workshops to understand and capture business goals, configuration needs, workflows, and requirements, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement
  • Contribute to client presentations, clearly articulating insights as required
  • Support in preparing and validating effort/cost estimates based on requirements and solution overview
  • Monitor and review Business Analyst estimates versus actuals through the change/project lifecycle, escalating significant variances to ensure financial transparency and control
  • Contribute to post-implementation reviews and lessons learnt to drive efficiency for future change initiatives
  • Lead or assist in the requirements elicitation process, to capture and translate both functional and non-functional requirements, while considering complexity and constraints of the change/project
  • Validate, baseline, and prioritise requirements, facilitating client and stakeholder approval and constructively challenging assumptions where appropriate
  • Develop Use Cases and Process Maps to ensure solutions are fit for purpose and meet business needs

You’ll be supported by experienced Business Analysts within the Business Analysis Team, giving you the opportunity to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.

  • Experience within UK Financial Service industry, specifically in the Lending and/or Investment sectors

The following experience would be desirable, but not essential for the role:

  • Experience of identifying and documenting requirements and working with stakeholders to prioritise these
  • Experience of Data Migration projects
  • Systems and/or User Acceptance Testing experience
  • Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle & Project Management techniques
  • Experienced in the use of JIRA
