The successful candidate will play an integral role in driving engagement across the business and building long standing relationships with your key stakeholders.

What does the role of Growth Account Manager look like day to day?

  • Develop new sales revenues by identifying new business opportunities within existing clients
  • Direct responsibility for ensuring opportunities become agreed T&C’s, within agreed delivery model.
  • Liaise directly with clients throughout the tender process and delivery of services to ensure continuity and consistency in relationships and quality of service and in line with company values.
  • Close new business opportunities and maintain a consistently healthy pipeline.
  • Build and leverage strong customer relationships through a natural curiosity in the Accounts assigned.
  • Maintain sales plans, contact plans, closure documents and ensure the CRM platform is regularly updated.
  • To escalate any client issues to the Client Development Partner and across Target’s business leaders to drive accountability of issue resolution.
  • Work closely with the solutions and pricing team to ensure a suitable and profitable proposition is submitted.
  • To chair Monthly Client Governance meetings, coordinating relevant attendees to represent the business and relevant operational areas.
  • Monitor competitor and independent market activity within the Account to ensure Target is offering the appropriate solutions and insight.
  • Review and keep up-to-date with the market, to review any potential business development opportunities.
  • Provide regular reporting and trusted advisor recommendations to clients, through analysis of data.

The role is primarily remote, however you will be asked to attend our Cardiff or Newport office when required

What experience are we looking for?

  • Proven success in managing existing revenues and bringing in new business sales – generating leads and converting them into profitable income
  • Ability to work at C level.
  • Proven success of developing relationships to identify and land new business opportunities.
  • Demonstrable experience of developing winning propositions and go to market strategies.
  • Extensive knowledge of the financial services market (3-5 years minimum).
  • Sound experience and knowledge of marketing operations to leverage new sales.
  • Demonstrable experience of significantly influencing operational activity and the relevant regulatory standards .

The successful candidate will ideally be:

  • Influential – able to influence multiple stakeholders across the company and externally,
  • Able to negotiate and address conflict of views appropriately.
  • Personable and able to build strong relationships quickly.
  • Organised with effective planning skills.
  • Commercially aware with the drive and determination to close a sale.
  • A competitive salary starting from £60,000 per annum, depending on experience
