About the Program

We run junior summer courses for English language students aged between 9-18. Students come from around the world, primarily Italian, with others from Spain, Portugal, Poland, Czech Republic, Argentina and Cyprus. They stay typically two weeks and participate in a programme of lessons and activities/excursions run by Activity Leaders.

Overview of Role

  • Line Manager: Centre Manager/Academic Manager
  • Pay rate: Competitive, dependent on contract type + full-board accommodation and holiday pay
  • Dates: June to August
  • Hours: As required (typically 48 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for the successful implementation and administration of all aspects of the academic programme.
  • Manage academic staff and oversee their performance.
  • Optimise students’ academic programme and learning environment.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students at all times.
  • Apply strong management, organisational and problem-solving skills to maintain high standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Competent teacher with significant experience in the EFL and summer school industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing academic staff within a residential summer school setting.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to supporting student safety, wellbeing and inclusive learning.
