We are seeking a dedicated and skilled HGV 1 Driver Day/Night Tramper or Trunkers to join our Client Team on a full-time basis. This role involves operating HGV 1 Driver vehicles for the transportation of goods across various locations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial driving and have experience as a delivery driver. You will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe deliveries while adhering to all road safety regulations.
Duties
- Operate HGV 1 Driver vehicles for the transportation of goods to designated locations.
- Ensure the secure loading and unloading of cargo, maintaining safety standards at all times.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is roadworthy.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit.
Skills
